Silence is Golden

iOS 13 brings peace by silencing unknown callers

iOS 13 which dropped on September 19th, 2019 has a number of interesting and mild improvements but the most delightful change is the addition of the ability to automatically silence and ignore calls from callers which are absent from your contacts list.

It's come to the point where any unfiltered phone is going to ring at all hours with increasingly garbage SPAM calls (often in languages the recipient doesn't even speak). Having the ability to whitelist the sources which actually cause an interruption in one's day is a tremendous step forward.

Bravo Apple, bravo.
